About
With a storied history dating back to the late 1800s, reforming in 1985, the CATS Cricket Club proudly stands as an emblem of the Callignee and Traralgon South district. Just a brief 10-minute drive from Traralgon, our home ground at Traralgon South, named the John Black Memorial Oval in honour of a club legend, features newly developed training and player facilities, along with welcoming social rooms, making it one of the premier cricket complexes in the Latrobe Valley. The John Black Memorial Oval also boasts a lush turf wicket that adds to the authenticity of the games played there.
Our second ground, the charming Wes Pump Oval at Callignee, named after another esteemed club legend, is a synthetic ground nestled in the heart of the Callignee bush and ranks among the most unique and picturesque cricket grounds in Gippsland.
Embracing players of all ages and skill levels, Callignee and Traralgon South Cricket Club extend an open invitation to join our dynamic community, where both senior and junior teams flourish. At CATS Cricket Club, we're not just about playing cricket – we're a community that values togetherness, across generations and skill levels.
