Mike, affectionately known as Thommo, holds a special place in the heart of our cricket club. He made history as the first non-playing supporter to receive a life  membership – a well-deserved nod to his unwavering dedication. Thommo held the role of Treasurer followed by Secretary during the reformation period of the club and was known for running the kitchen & bar back when the facilities were a mismatch of acquired equipment. 

The iconic 1990’s menu on offer featured VB cans, Coke, Salt & Vinegar Chips and Steamed Dim-Sims. Thommo’s generous spirit and humble volunteerism to this day continues to set a high standard that we should all aspire to. The Club Most Improved Shield is named in his honour.
