Brad Foster

As a current club-games record holder and wicket record holder, Brad could be easily recognised with life membership due to his playing record. However it was in true recognition of his selfless contributions to the club in many roles that Brad was recognised with life membership way back in 2004.
Over his time at Callignee and Traralgon South Cricket Club Brad as served as the President, Vice President (8 years), General Committee, Social Committee (7 Years, including MC for many trivia nights), Junior Coach (3 Years) and Captain (A Grade once, B Grade twice).
As a player he worked diligently through the grades from C grade to finally cracking a regular spot in the A’s. During his time as a CATS Player, he has amassed close to 5000 runs and 500 wickets for the club. These exploits have seen him win the following club awards:
Champion Player (A Grade once and B Grade 3 times)
Batting Average (B Grade once)
Batting Aggregate (B Grade once)
Bowling Average (A Grade 5 times, B Grade twice, C grade twice)
Bowling Aggregate (A Grade twice, B Grade twice, C Grade once)
From humble beginnings to winning TDCA A-Grade bowling awards, Brad has been a consistent performer across many years with his grit and determination delivering many wins due to his personal efforts. A fierce competitor, but humble sportsman, Brad is highly respected across by both teammates and opposition.
A day spent with Brad Foster out on the field is a day well spent.
